The monument to victory and the soldiers of Verdun

Standing in the town centre, this monument was inaugurated in 1929. Its 73 steps lead to a crypt that houses the lists of names of the soldiers holding the Medaille de Verdun. At the top of the 30-metre tower there stands a warrior, leaning on his sword and looking towards the East. This monument affords a clear view over the town.
